Get Involved

The heart of the New River Chapter are the members and supporters who join us at events and activities and roll up their sleeves to make a local restoration project happen. When you help kids to learn and grow, come to a meeting to get involved, or support our work by contributing to our important fundraising efforts, you make it all possible. Help make our community healthier and our rivers cleaner by getting involved today!

ATTEND AN EVENT

With dozens of great events to choose from – ranging from monthly gatherings and fly tying meetings to hands-on volunteer days or fishing trips, you’re sure to find something of interest. Our event calendar is packed with fun, free opportunities to come out and join us, and we encourage everyone to bring new anglers and conservationists with them to introduce them to our chapter! No one is a stranger!

SUPORT OUR PROJECTS

Our Chapter members volunteer to support one or more of our many projects, including: Trout in the Classroom, the Mayfly Project, Stream Cleanups, and Conservation of the Big Stony River. As an all-volunteer, local nonprofit, we rely on people like you to keep our community strong and our impact growing. Join us as a volunteer!
