Good winter day on the South Fork of the Holston 2/2/2020
NRVTU members Angelo and Bill took advantage of a the warming weather to fish the south fork. Morning started out pretty cold but did warm up some by mid day. Had to deal with a strong wind that blew all day. most of the day it was nymphs that brought fish to hand. But they were rewarded with a good blue wing olive hatch after lunch and were abel to land some on small dry flies. Including a 18" rainbow on a # 20 dry.
